high-tech sledge

There was no such thing as a 'high-tech sledge' when I was a kid, it was bin bags and garden sacks sliding down the path. If you don't fancy my ol' fashioned way of taking the rough with the smooth, or suffering The Incident, like my Dad (he slid down a hill on a rudementary plastic sledge over a frozen cow pat and bust the sledge and his back,) then this is the product for you.

Only 6 1/3" flat when folded. Take it from the boot to the piste in a jiffy.Far more comfortable than traditional sledges: Uneven surfaces and knocks or even jumps, are absorbed by a 165mm (6 3⁄4") steel spring shock absorber. This protects your back and joints and improves both travel stability and safety. The shock absorber has a 12cm(4 3⁄4") spring deflection which can be appropriately adjusted depending on your weight and the terrain.
Corrosion-resistant aluminium andbreak-proof polycarbonate.
