Porsche Design have once more downscaled their engineering of mobility to the humble handset. Following the P'9521, Porsche have, in conjunction with Sagem, created its successor, the P'9522, whose singular design ex-communicates its predecessor's flip-phone style.
Spec-wise, this handset is certainly up to the job, with a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, fingerprint reader, GPS and microSD expansion slot. However, what you are buying into (for approx. 600 Euros) is, of course, a highly-coveted brand name and an aesthetically-pleasing design. But, is it a case of form over function? With far more 'techy' phones on the market, to a degree, yes, but if you're someone for whom an excess of tech on your device is, frankly, more than is necessary, then that renders any issues over compromise obsolete.
The Porsche Design P'9522 will debut to the market this November.
