It is well known that the Japanese are at the forefront of technology and the worlds leading innovators of bringing the futuristic to the present day. I always thought lifelike androids belonged in Sci-fi films but it seems that I was wrong. Japanese robotic company, Kokoro, have created a robot that mimics human like gestures and speech that can be hired as a chairperson to corporate events. The Actroid is apparently capable of human-like and natural expressions and is well versed in acting and narrating. With its realistic presence and smooth gestures, the android can now be hired to replace your company’s speaker in presentations. Boring robotic human speaker to actual robot? No one will notice the difference.
